Using Our Services

Using professional retail advisors can save you money. Negotiating rent, rent increases, Outgoings contributions, requirements to refurbish and so on can save you thousands of dollars.

Retailers should avoid dealing with landlords or their representatives – they have superior negotiating skills. Leave it to the professionals! We know all the jargon, traps and tricks.

Retail Lease Solutions is not a Law firm and do not give legal advice. However, depending on your needs or problems, we can contact your solicitor or accountant, your landlord or managing agent to resolve the issues on your behalf. In the first instance, RLS will endeavour to solve things without other professionals involvement, however in some cases, their involvement is unavoidable. We endeavour to keep costs down as much as possible.

Forget the lawyers and get sound advice from people in the industry. Most retail disputes do not require the intervention of a lawyer. Even the Retail Tenancy Unit discourages parties being represented by lawyers – they tend to be too confrontational and resolutions become bogged down in legal argument. Compromise where necessary and settlement on fair terms is our goal. This saves lots of money and allows tenants to get back to what they are best doing – retailing or moving on with their lives.
